great!!!!

I got this for my psp and amazon is the cheapest you will get out of all the shops. don't bother with the 2GB get the 4GB it is 10 times better than the 2GB.

itunes? ipod? - who needs 'em.....

Quality bit of kit, small, well made, easy to use, file transfer is simple, rip straight from windows media player, also watch films, great little mp3 player - used one on the plane to and from New Zealand, the battery is superb....what are you waiting for? - BUY IT

Cannot believe the cheap price

Having read all the previous customer reviews I was anxious about purchasing this Sony card.However I noticed it cost £44.99 in Argos and with Unique-estore offering it for £6.49 + P&P I thought 'what the heck'.I ordered it on Wed evening and it was delivered Friday am.Excellent quick service.It is the black Sony card, it looks to be genuine amd more to the point it works very well with my Sony Cybershot camera.I have already downloaded my first photos to the computer.I am more than pleased!!

Excellent value for money and excellent tapes

I would never buy any other tapes to go with my sony camcorder these are very good, and i would never go anywhere else to buy them apart from amazon as they are so affordable compared to high street stores, don't let them rip u off buy them from amazon!

Sony RDR-HXD870 = Very capable machine

Hard disk recorder with upscaling DVD recorder at a reasonable price. Best features for me are series record and 1080p HDMI output (DVDs look great even with a cheap HDMI cable). Most of the complaints I've read on Amazon seem to fit into 4 main categories:-

1. An expectation that it is a PVR. It does not claim to have twin digital tuners. Most modern TVs usually have an internal Freeview receiver, which is fine if simultaneous recording isn't required.

2. Trouble reading the manual. It's true the manual tends to go into unnecessary detail about advanced settings and modes. I rarely have any need for the manual because I find the recorder and the remote control intuitive. I recommend just playing around with it for 20 mins. It's easy enough to setup (suggest using a SCART cable initially and then migrating to HDMI), it scans all the digital channels automatically. The only option I had to set was the choice of EPG.

3. Weak reception. I don't have any specific problem so cannot comment. It performs just like any other Freeview receiver I've had.

4. Missed timer recordings. I recommend checking the firmware is at least version v1.65. Easy to do - full details are on Sony's website.

My only gripes are minor:- I'd love to move HDD recordings into folders and the EPG just looks a bit dated compared with the one on my Sony TV.

An undocumented feature is that it is also capable of reading DVD-RAM disks, so I was able to dub recordings made on my old Panasonic machine with no trouble.

NOT MULTIREGION

Having read previous reviews, I was disappointed to find that my player wouldn't play multi-region DVDs. I will return it for a refund.

Just right

I'm very pleased with this camera case; it's lightweight, branded, padded sufficiently and has a small handy pocket.
All I can say is I'm very content with my purchase and would recommend it!

Superb Television

Im not a technician or engineer but seeing this SONY KDL 32U3000 at a very low price attracted me to buy from amazon. Its very easy to use, connected to my laptop via male vga pin it works properly. now I am enjoying all my downloaded films to watch in my SONY BRAVIA. bright crisp films very recommendable to have. amazon keep it up! delivery time as good as you expect!!!

Outstanding service and value

Very quick delivery on the day specified which makes life easier if you work. Replaces a very heavy Philips TV, so very easy to handle and looks smart. Set up by an oldie in 20 minutes. Great TV and delighted with saving so much against Tesco price. Every little helps!

What a bargain!!

I bought this TV on the strength of other reviews and my budget.
I was not disappointed - easy to set up - wonderful picture quality and sound. The 37" screen is just right - not too big that it consumed the living room.
The service from Amazon was excellent - ordered Wed despatched Fri - received 8am Saturday- and all for free!

Well impressed,

Received this yesterday and couldn't be happier with it. Charged in 3 hours, intuitive to use, sound quality is superb and the headphones are incredibly well designed and unlike any i've ever come across. PC recognised it without installing software, and i had 750 track on it within an hour. Menus are easy to navigate, the equaliser is a great tool and it automatically levels out the track volumes so my Billy Holiday sounds as loud as my Arctic Monkeys. I didn't buy it for video but the sample one pre-loaded looked amazing. Only negatives really are the headphone jack going into the bottom and the headphone cable comes in 2 parts with a jack to join them which seems daft but doesn't cause any problems. Would have been good if it had a clip to attach it to yourself but am sure they can be bought. Overall a great little thing and i love it.

Counterfeit

If you want an original MS Pro Duo, then it's best to buy one from a retailer itself rather then a market place seller, as I recently found out when I received a counterfeit stick. Yes, this functions as a MS, but MagicGate NOT supported, and no warranty, so if it falls apart thats the money down the drain. And a waste of money too because you can pick this same fake MS as this off eBay for £5.99, buy now price.

Small & Perfectly Formed

Was looking for a relatively inexpensive and easy to use product for use on holiday etc. So plumped for the Sony Handycam. It does what is syas - extremely easy to use and pick up, first class recoding quality (although can be noisy - shot a small clip on a nice spring day in Inverness with a slight breeze and watching playback on TV it sounds like it was blowing a gale!!).
My only criticism would be with the software supplied and instruction manual. I am not illiterate when it comes to computers but 3 months down the line, I still cannot get the Handycam to link to my pc and I have no idea how on earth one goes about editing footage with the software provided.

music in your head!

I was pleased with the sound when I plugged these earphones into my ipod -I heard extra sounds and words to familiar songs that my old earphones just didn't pick up! It's great having the music in my head!
Just one niggle is that the left earpiece cord is a bit short. It was good to have the choice of 3 sizes of earbuds - as with small ears,I have had trouble with them falling out - but with the small buds they fit a treat.

Everything we wanted

We ordered this on a Friday, paying the extra for next day delivery, and it arrived on Sat. morning, less than 24hours later, so top marks for that. Had it up and running in no time, and even managed to connect our extra 'bits' with no trouble- we are on cable TV.

It looks just as I hoped, a smart dark grey, as we didn't want a black box in the corner of our small sitting room- also, this size is just right for a smallish room, not too in your face as they say, but still larger than our old fashioned 27" and great for viewing. The bravia picture is great, specially good for sports watching and wildlife type progs. The sound quality is good. Glad we made the choice and very happy with it.

Rubbish

This camera doesnt save viewable thumbnails when files are transferred to a computer using windows explorer.

I bought the camera a month ago and raised a query with Sony support line. They took a month to reply so I guess I will now have trouble returning this now and have wasted £200 on a substandard piece of kit

Excellent product. One can't go far wrong with Sony.

An excellent camera at an excellent price. For the semi-casual user such as myself this is a great product. Dead simple to use when you want to just get something down on film, but you can also use the provided software to get a little more clever. Not only that, but it's compact. Really very compact. I couldn't quite believe it when I opened the box and it came out. Things have moved on so much even in the last couple of years. For the money, this is a great little video camera, and well worth it.
