Disappointing
Be warned, I'm sure the product works as it is supposed to do but as it doesn't come with a memory stick adaptor as described on the review I don't know yet. Like a previous reviewer I have had to order one separately. Ordered from Amazon but delivery time poor by their standards.5

User friendly and serves common purpose
I am using this camera over one month, its very good to use for normal picture with friends and family. Bettery life should be the concern as it only lasts for 3 hours. In that case u need at one extra bettery.Otherwise its ok with its configuration.

Good but not great
The Sony soft case for Alpha DSLR's is good, the camera fits very nicely and you can get the spare battery and maybe an extra memory card in the side pockets too. Unfortunately you can't get the battery charger in a side pocket with a UK plug on it. You can get it into the case with the camera but this risks damaging the camera, I would have liked more space or expandable side pockets.9

Great Product From Sony
Well I didnt buy from MMUK so I can not say wether their merchandise is fake or not, I bought this from on of the Amazon Marketplace sellers. The 8gb Pro Duo gives you more space than you will ever need, I popped it into my psp but you can use it on hundreds of other devices. The one I got was MARK 2, which gives lighting fast transfer speeds. Overall, if you buy a genuine one, you wont be disappointed10

Sony Cyber-shot DSCS950S - Silver (10.1 MP, 4x Optical Zoom) 2.7" LCDThis camera isn't awful but its not good enough. It really struggles to deal with any type of movement from the person taking the photo or the objects in the photo, it also struggles unless the light is perfect. this camera also has very few modes. for example my old 50 pound kodak takes much better moving photos (sports mode) and is much more consistant. With sony most of the money is invested in the camera looking good(which it does) and not on the photos (normally slightly blured). you money will go a lot further buying a Kodak, Canon or any proper photography make.13

Nice to have a Spare
I purchased this as a spare to the NP-FH40 that was supplied with my Camcorder, the book says about an hour continuously recording and that would be about right. I ended up making the NP-FH70 my first battery and the other the spare, the book again says about 120-140 mins for this battery but I was sometimes up in the 180 mins mark (3 hours)worth of battery would fill 3 x 60 min tapes, although in reality you would be well through your second tape (hour) before having to reach for that spare! I think it is a good product for the price and is still relatively small so dosen't make the camcorder feel any more awkward to control.16
