AT LAST NOT FAKE

I have bought 2 memory cards from ebay and one from Amazon market place, all of which were fake and will not work in my Sony Tg3 Camcorder!
BEWARE the market is flooded with fakes.
The way to tell is the writing on the back of the card should be engraved into the plastic, run your finger over the back, if its smooth its genuine, if you can feel a slight raise then its painted on and fake.
My camcorder just kept saying memory may not be able to record images all the time, very annoying.
THIS ONE IS REAL....AT LAST!!

decent mobile phone storage

This has been reliable for a year now. but recently, after deleting multiple photos and films, the contents preview pictures go black on my mobile phone. don't know if this is the memory or the phone having issues though, but it resets after exiting camera mode so is not a big issue, but hence 4 stars

Well buy a 8GB from ebay, there round about 20.00 mark, yes your probily thinking its a fake and yes it is but it works the same as officail ones,
games, music, pictures, IRShell, Devvhook, DOS-Box

A Lightweight Compact Solution

I was looking for a case that did NOT turn a lightweight & compact camcorder (Sony DCR-HC35) into a heavy large item to carry around whilst out & about, the LCS-VAC lived up to my expectations, it can hold (in addition to the camcorder)1-2 spare tapes, the remote control & a spare battery OR additional small still camera. If you do not take the mains charger with you everywhere you walk to, then this is the case for you. I Paid £[...] including postage which is much cheaper then anywhere else I have seen since.

Wow isnt it diddy!

When you consider that this is a 1 gig card and about the same size as my little fingers nail, its incredibly impressive.

I bought it for my Sony Ericsson phone so that I could take a ton more pics and film, and I am very impressed with it.

The phone company I got my phone from wanted to charge me £30 for a 512!!! and to get this for under £9 is an absolute bargain.

just excellent

I just got this camera a few weeks ago and have been very impressed with it since. The quality of the photos and ease of use are superb. It has some nice software too and the screen is big enough to review all your photos. The battery lasts enough to forget when the last time you had recharged it was.
For around £250, I think this is a top competitor.

All that you need in a take it every where ultra compact P&S.

Build Quality is excellent: metal body, firm tactile buttons, no creaks in the casing and battery compartment is extremely secure.

Looks: Bearing the Sony Cyber-Shot name across the front against the brushed allumium is absolutely stunning with the dark metallic trim matching the body of the lens.

Battery life: It is quite good I haven't experienced it dying out in the middle of a day trip or occasion where lots of snaps get taken.

Images: Are as good as you can get in a Point and Shoot of this size. Extremely sharp n clear in daylight & darkness and the 4x optical zoom is great. Auto-focus and smile detection are useful for snapping the kids.

Ease of Use: Takes a bit of getting use to as I'm more used to big cameras, this is a solid compact camera with smaller buttons (easily fits in your jeans ((who's Jean? lol)) front pocket or a lady's purse) and the zoom is a tiny toggle button on the back instead of on top. Menus are easy to get round though....

Other accessories to buy are the Lowepro Rezo 15 case, screen protectors (helps reduce glare in high sunlight), at least 2GB produo memory cards and micromate MSPD card reader for convenience of avoiding cables. All available cheaply on Amazon.

High capacity but speed increase is barely noticeable

Like many people who've had Sony digitial cameras for 3 or 4 years, I've recently upgraded my original memory sticks to the newer"Pro" stick.

Aside from the huge capacity of this single 512 Mb stick (which is good for around 200 5-megapixel shots), the increase in read/write speed you would expect with"Pro" isn't really apparent. In fact, a quick test between an original memory stick and this Pro stick revealed the write speeds are actually about the same.

Still, it's a sensible purchase for getting a whole family holiday of snaps onto one stick. And as newer cameras begin to offer greater resolutions (7-megapixel and beyond), this stick should hold its own for a few years yet.

Nice quality but bigger than it need be

I ordered this on the basis that it was tailor made for the DSC H9. I am however returning it for a refund under Amazon's excellent refund/return system.

The DSC H9 is a nice small compact camera considering it's features and Zoom length. This bag is actually quite large as it is designed to be used carrying the DSC H9 with the lens hood fitted. Due to it's size I don't use the lens hood and think the benefits are dubious anyway. If you want a nice bag that will take the DSC H9 and the lens hood this will be fine however if like me you don't there are smaller and more compact bags out there.

Good lens for the price

If on a budget this is a must have lens for your dslr. It will pretty much set you up for any shot due to its 70-300mm (105-450mm 35mm equivalent)
but obviously if you can stretch your budget, do so. I had this lens some years ago, had to sell to pay for something else. and im looking at buying a new one again, its that good. to sum up for a smidge over £100 its a great lens

Very Reliable Quality Tapes

I have been using Mini DV tapes from a number of brands since I purchased my camcorder five years ago. I originally brought a 3CCD camcorder for the best quality around at the time so wanted a tape that can playback as well as the camcorder recorded it.

The one consistent tape I can safely say I have settled on for reliability and at a good price is this Sony tape. It is very good value when bundled together and the free head cleaner is a real bonus reminding us of a maintenance task we should all be doing to our camcorders but I bet most (me included) wouldn't go out and buy separately on a regular basis. Playback of recorded video is still crisp and sharp using the Sony tapes, even if my camcorder is looking a bit tired and I still see no reason to upgrade my camcorder yet.

Enormous!!

Having read the reviews, I bought this along with my new Sony DCR-DVD109 camcorder. It is indeed large inside - you could easily fit two of these cameras in the main compartment and still have room for leads, a spare DVD and a spare battery. Then you need to work out what to put in the other handy pockets!

I can't fault the quality but the problem with all this space is its a bit bulky to carry about - I'm not quite ready to carry a man-bag! (My camcorder is the same size as the 106 and 306).
