Review for Sony STR-DA1200ES - STRDA 7.1 Multi Channel - Home Cinema Receiver With HDMI - Silver:
not so great!
I've had mine for over two years and it's awful - can't wait to dispose, don't buy, another nasty Sony product. It delays speech. Significantly. 'Makes actors look stupid. Fussy controls and very heavy. It 'knows better'. It will show one movie through at a specific volume, put another one in and it violently switches itself off, ruining the movie halfway through - you have to switch it on and scroll down to a lower volume than you just had, or it will happen again, and again, and again. It is quite crude in this sense, and you get the best movie sound from the ancient Dolby Digital Pro Logic 2 setting. It plays music superbly, contrary to what is said above, indeed it is a music system, especially with mordaunt-shorts', but as a movie system it is awful and so bland at lower volumes you may as well not bloody bother. a waste of money. remember Sony Clie, or Sony Minidisc? Stay well clear of this company. I'll never trust the magazine reviewers again. (Go to Bose, or Denon!) The little cameras are only good because Minolta was so superb and you could be sure they would be better if they were still independent. Nasty, nasty, nasty Fony.68
Review for sony cmt-bx30r mp3/usb:
this cute little system plays a range of digital sources that makes it very practical to connect. plays CDs (both audio and MP3 collections, on any format - CD-R, CD+R etc.), radio, USB sources and has a 3.5mm audio input that connects with any media player that has a headphone plug. earlier on I played music from my nokia N85 directly into the system. and the 2-way speakers are small, but surprisingly deep and powerful.
some other nice features: the digital sound enhancer which provides extra bass, besides a basic bass&treble equalizer; the smart idea to add folder keys on the unit and the remote, to ease jumping through MP3 folders; the practical display which gives all the information stored on the CD or USB key; a dedicated USB menu, that lets you control the USB source from the unit (add/delete files, for instance); and of course, the sleep function which I cannot do without. :)
in other words, I found exactly what I needed. it's not exactly your main source of audio entertainment, but it's ideal for a bedroom or for the office. if there is something that it's missing, that would be bluetooth connectivity, but hey, at this price tag, it's the best there is.

cute system, ready for digital, great sound for its size
while looking for a system to play music in my baby daughter's room, I found this on Sunday in a Sony center. I paid around 150 EUR and it's worth every penny.this cute little system plays a range of digital sources that makes it very practical to connect. plays CDs (both audio and MP3 collections, on any format - CD-R, CD+R etc.), radio, USB sources and has a 3.5mm audio input that connects with any media player that has a headphone plug. earlier on I played music from my nokia N85 directly into the system. and the 2-way speakers are small, but surprisingly deep and powerful.

Review for Sony Ericsson MDS-70 speakers:
Great mini Hi-Fi!
Bought this for my SE mobile (works with any SE phone that has a fast-port connector)and it really blasts the music out, getting the most out of your Walkman phone (tried it with W395 and W595).It's a great alternative to any bulky Hi-Fi system and easily carried around when travelling. The sub-woofer really adds that deep backround base giving it a real Hi-Fi experience. However, the surround sound function justs lowers the volume and comes out tinny, so it's best kept in normal stereo mode.Overall,a great portable music system.74

Review for Sony CMT-EP313 Micro System:
A great all round system
This sound system is very good value for money considering the sound you get from it. The CD playback is great - very crisp. It also features Sony's"DSG" which makes the overall sound much better. There are even tone controls for people like me who want to hear the bassline! However, if you like your music at very high volume, (i play the drum kit along to mine sometimes) the sound can get a bit poor.Overall, a great value system with v. useful features

Review for Sony CMT-NE5 Micro system MP3:
Sound - 5/5
Build Quality - 5/5
Useability - 5/5
I would highly reccomend this micro system because I can't fault it. It is very easy to setup and use, it is loud and I have had no problems with it. MP3 CDs can be played on the system but you have to buy additional software to make these on your computer but they are extremley good once they are made. You can hook up additional appliances such as an mp3 player or Tv using RCA or phono leads available almost everywhere quite cheap. Personally I think it's the best micro system available at this moment in time.

Wonderful Box!
This little Sony is not really little at all! In fact its really very big on sound! Perhaps its best quality, though you might get to appreciate its looks once you get used to it! Slightly unconventional layout makes it very attractive, later! The separate old style bass and treble controls are a treat! Even though they have only about 7 steps, this Sony makes the most of it! Really gratifying to grab a knob and turn!
Oh and the best visual effect is the vertical spinning CD! Even though you slide in horizontally, a prism does the optical trick!
And last but certainly not the least is the little lit up display in the cassette door! Definite conversation piece!
Overall , for the money its a great system!
