Sony keeps you talking!

I have been using a hard-wired mobile phone car kit for some ten years but with the latest handsets this is becoming increasingly more difficult. With changes to power cables and the variety of handset shapes, Bluetooth seems to have become the norm. With my latest Nokia N85 handset my only option to keep up my chats whilst mobile was to consider a Bluetooth Speakerphone.

And they are not all alike! As the Nokia N85 supports Bluetooth 2 for a more stable connection, the Sony HCB-100E fitted the bill, both in features and cost. There are plenty of useful features including the option to connect several handsets and recognise each by a coloured LED on the speakerphone, plus the option to extinguish this LED for nightime driving.

Connection to your mobile when entering your car is fast and fault-free and the speakerphone attaches securely to your visor. The call button on the device may be used to make calls or use caller voice recognition if your phone supports it. My only gripes are the fact that the power chord looks like it won't fit the socket on the speakerphone but with a little care it fits fine. The speakerphone volume is not as loud as a built-in kit and callers state the sounds to be somewhat 'hollow' but this is typical for stand alone Bluetooth devices.

All in all, I am very pleased with this device as it means I can continue my conversations safely whilst on the move. Recommended.

MZ-NH1 owners avoid like the plague!

This item does not fit the MZ-NH1 MD Walkman!!!! Unfortunately I had to open the packaging to find out so if anyone wants one on the cheap then contact me!!!

ok some issues

this product is over 12months old no and is starting to fail! it looses connection to the paired device or just wont connect at all, it also suffers from feed back and interferance

Excellent build quality and sound as ever from Sony

I bought this to supplement my F7750S Sony head unit. I didn't want to drill 200 holes in the car so have put it into the glove box as yet fixed to anything. I have since driven over some rough roads and speed bumps - not one skip - truly amazing.
The main head unit has a marginally clearer sound but this is very good quality and a shuffle through 7 ( inc head unit) of your favourite CD's is a real pleasure. The glove box when closed parks the unit at a horrible angle but a quick adjustment of the levelling dials and its been fine. The cables are about a mile long for boot intallation - I replaced the phono RCA lead with one of my own but the head connector is not so easy. It would be nice if they supplied two lengths but at this price you cannot moan. This unit with the F7750 in my Vectra C have totally changed my attitude to car music - those with the same car will know the Vauxhall kit isn't half bad but this takes it on to another dimension. Highly recommended.

Sony Ericsson car holder HCH-61

Having just installed a bluetooth Handsfree kit to me Rover 75, I was looking for an in-car holder to mount my Sony Ericsson W810i phone into, and was delighted to see that the HCH-61 accommodated it. The HCH-61 is a superbly built holder and the fitting kit with swivel mounting plate and instructions are all excellent. The unit features a quick release button at the top for easy removal of the phone, and a space at the rear for the wiring on other phones which require them.

All I need now is the CLA-60 in car charger which fits straight into the base of this holder, and my system is complete. A brilliant piece of kit, well done Sony EricssonSony Ericsson HCH-61 K750i/Z520i/W800i Car Holder

Very attractive design and clear to listen through.
Comes with a Sony Ericsson car charger so if you dont
have a Sony Ericsson phone you dont need to buy a
seperate charger. Works with my Nokia phone very well
and should work with other mobiles with Bluetooth.

compact unit - excellent sound quality & value for money!!!

My husband has been very lucky this christmas! I purchased this as a last minute gift, as he spends many hours on the road.... It is a very cute little unit - very easy to pair with up to 5 phones (we have 3 on it already) and tremendously easy to use/answer calls. I believe there are newer units available from Sony Ericsson, but this must be one of the best you can get for around £45... Cheaper than being fined for using a mobile without handsfree too!

IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE YOU BUY!! NOT!!! COMPATIBLE WITH IPOD!!!

I Purchased this item from Halfords who also fitted it. The Sony MEX-BT3600U is an excellent product, but there is one massive drawback! If you intend to use this product with any iPod it is NOT I REPEAT NOT COMPATIBLE!!!
The USB connection on the front is only for use with a memory stick or SONY'S own MP3 products.
If you connect your iPod to the USB it will play but tracks are played randomly & you have no control over what you listen to. If you try to search for artists & tracks then all that comes up on the display is garbled characters!
The only way you can use this product with an iPod is to get a lead with 3.5mm jack on each end then plug one end into your ipod headphone socket, then the other into the front of the Sony MEX-BT3600U. Then you can control you tracks via the iPod. The sound quality is not as good as via the USB & the iPod battery runs flat almost immediately!!!

I bought this product for myself to fit into my Nissan Micra ready for when I passed my driving test. It works great, sound quality is really good and it is really good looking a modern. Altogether a great buy!

I'm so glad I purchased this! I hardly ever get around to listening to my CD's at home. So it is great to be able to listen to them in the car!

This player is great, it looks and sounds good and is very easy to use (I didn't even have trouble tuning in the radio preset station thing).

I also had difficulty installing, but not because of instructions, quite simply the leads on my Nissan didn't match the connection that was on the player, so for about 6 pounds I brought the adapter and it was fine.

This is teh bets one Ive seen for this price, its excellent
