Review for Sony Mini/Lightweight Headphones:
I have not been disappointed with them. They give a clear sound and are comfortable to wear. The only minor criticism is that maybe the cable could do with being a foot or two longer but for the money, the quality is excellent. Highly recommended for occasional use. Good value for the money

.. But I am fine with regular headphones
I did not have a pressing need for wireless headphones in the first place, planning to use them near my PC, but wished to dispense with the wire. No such luck: the base needs to be connected to AC all the time - not just when charging, as I had thought - so you actually end up with two wires, connecting the base to the PC and to the socket. (Couldn't Sony make headphones for wireless-enabled PCs and cut out the first wire?) Sound quality is nice, but my current £15 Sony headphones match it.5

Review for Sony MDRXD100 HIFI Headphones Silver:
That's about it though, if you want to listen to anything, then you're probably better off just whistling to yourself.
Distinct lack of volume, and every note twisted and distorted.

Music minus the noise :)
When I first plugged the earphone into my ear all I could think was why on earth had I used my ipod earphones for the past 3 years! On the tube journey on my way to work, instead of hearing the engines etc all I hear is my music- perfect. One thing I will say is that be careful when you are out and about as the earphones block out unwanted noise but sometimes when crossing the road that noise is helpful! I have wandered into the road judging with my hearing only to find a car comming- you will understand when you wear them what I mean!Overall a very good by for a very good price.

Review for Sony MDR-EX71SLW Stereo Earphones - White:
I had read a few bad reviews but decided to try a pair anyway - afterall, the defects couldn't occur all the headphones I thought. Surely the faulty earphones were isolated to an unlucky few. Right? WRONG. The sound in one ear died in my first pair within 12mths, so I sent them back and received a new pair. The second set now have the same problem, though they lasted a little longer than 12mths so no warranty to claim on.
Overall, they are comfortable earphones with quality sound. It's just a shame that Sony make them with such poor materials.

Good sound, but it's true they won't last long.
I've just thrown out my second pair of these. Great sound for a reasonable price, but as many of the reviews suggest they just fall to bits far too soon.I had read a few bad reviews but decided to try a pair anyway - afterall, the defects couldn't occur all the headphones I thought. Review for Sony MDREX32LPB In-Ear Headphone - Black:
The headphones themselves are very small and one of the three size buds is bound to fit. Not all of the surrounding sounds are canceled however the sound quality is extremely pleasurable. The bass is excellent and the vocal is very clear and crisp. These headphones are also relatively cheap to other similar products. and with Sony you won't really go wrong. For £16.00 these headphones are worth the buy!
The headphones are also available in white which i may recommend buying if you have a white ipod. I have the the silver Nano and bought these black headphones which look a bit weird with the silver ipod...
All in all, excellent headphones and brilliant price :)

Quality budget headphones
I've been after a pair of proper headphones for my IPod for a while as I really dislike earphones (especially when out walking). These Sony MDR headphones were cheap so I thought I'd give them a shot. First of all they're very comfortable to wear. They are fully adjustable and because the heads rotate they sit comfortably over your ear. They can also handle a bit of throwing around and are sturdily built. The sound is very good for this price and you get a full clear sound at both low and high volumes. Certainly not for the professional, but for the average joe wanting a decent pair of headphones then you can't go wrong.12

Review for Sony MDR-AS50G Active Series Headphones:
They have excellent sound quality (for the price and in comparison to other sony headphones) and efficeintly block out the scary dance music beamed into the gym.
I did not need to adjust them throughout running and they stayed quite snug.
Why not 5 star? The extension cord bounces around which can be quite annoying, and although a clip is supplied to attach it to clothing this certainly does not eliminate the problem.
The case that comes with the headphones requires an instruction sheet all on it's own and is VERY FIDDLY when it comes to putting the headphones, the clip and the extension cord inside.
I have had no problems with sound quality or loss of sound with the product so far but will update this review if I do.

Review for Sony MDREX85LPB In-Ear Headphones - Black:
The only downside is the long (about 2 metres!), thin cable... I've had these for over a year now, but unfortunately have recently managed to accidentally snag the cable and rip off both earpieces... =(

Review for Sony MDR-XD200 Stereo Headphones - Silver:
The main thing of course is the sound quality which is excellent.there is little difference between it's sound modes of music and movie; however, I think it depends on what your quality of equipment from the main source is.The overall quality is excellent and one can wear these for a long period of time on a portable DVD player for instance, which gives BIG rich sound reproduction, overall for the price I would say thay that this item is satisfying.

Review for Sony MDRNC22 In Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones With Monitor Switch To Hear Surround Sound:
Problem with DAB Radio.
Some reviews have stated that there is no difference between the outside noise when switched on and when switched off. I took some time choosing the correct buds and how they were fitted and found that the noise cancellation was good, not great, but OK. I normally use my headphones whilst walking to and from work along busy roads so I was looking for something to block out the sound of the number 42 roaring past which they did to a moderate degree. I do agree that most of the sound is reduced by the mere fact that you have headphones in your ears but I would say the noise cancellation added another 10% reduction. The biggest issue, and hence the reason they have been returned, is that they simply don't work with a portable Sony DAB radio. Switch the noise cancellation on and the DAB signal dies! Now I'm not a teckie but that makes no sense to me and why I should get a good signal with cancellation off and it drop to nothing when it's on is beyond my understanding but, sadly, back to Amazon they go.19
Review for Sony MDR-EX300SLB In-Ear Headphones with 13.5mm Driver Unit:
When those earphones broke and I had to go back to a pair of 10 Euro Panasonics, I noticed a huge difference in my audio pleasure. So I decided, while waiting to see if Sony would fix or replace the EX85, that I would splash out on these EX300.
And I haven't regretted it one bit. Pros, they have a really sharp, clear and quite full sound. You would definitely notice the difference over a cheaper pair. Yes, I noticed I was hearing sounds in songs that I hadn't heard with cheaper pairs, as well as other little things; for example in one song what I had always thought was a drum thud, now turned out to be definitely hands clapping. After wondering for ages whether it really is worth investing in proper headphone upgrades, I can now confirm it definitely is.
Cons, well the only issue I have with them is that the cable is split into two parts; meaning I find it is either too short without the extender, or too long with the extender. But that's not such an issue that I'm going to deduct a star.
Like"Rich", I'm also now wondering what the EX500 sound like, or even the EX700. I don't know if a pair of Sennheisers in the same price range might be a better bet, all I can do is relay my experience: out of Sennheisers and Sonys that I have bought at a lower price range than this, I always preferred the sound on the Sonys.
If you've just bought or own an MP3 player and you want to upgrade your earphones to something better, then I think these are definitely a good option.

Very Impressed
I may as well tell you the story behind these earphones and me. I purchased a 16GB Sony S-Series Walkman to replace a smashed up iPod. The Walkman came with a pair of Sony EX85 earphones, which are pretty decent. Well actually, I had never had earphones so decent. When those earphones broke and I had to go back to a pair of 10 Euro Panasonics, I noticed a huge difference in my audio pleasure. So I decided, while waiting to see if Sony would fix or replace the EX85, that I would splash out on these EX300.

Good Quality
The earphones are a very good quality for such a cheap product. The sound is clear on all genres of music and the bass is very good. The earphones themselves are a little larger than other earphones that i have had in the past though. I still would reccomed these headphones to anyone.
