Spot on!
The packaging alone makes them 100 times better than my previous plugs. The reel and pouch mean no more spaghetti.The sound is as good as it gets, by iPhone standards at least.

Sony Do It Again...Unbeatable Value.
I don't know How Sony do it, but they keep coming up with better and better headphones. I've had a few pairs from them, and never been disappointed. I bought these to replace some Sennheiser ones which were new, only worn a couple of times, but were so very very substandard compared to even the cheapest of Sony headphones. I'll never buy Senns again they're rubbish, just cheap bass sound.I know I can always buy Sony in future and be delighted with them. This product is amazing i bought a pair and they are wkd on all kinds of music, you may be wondering why i only gave them 1 star well the reason i did that is beace people only care about the bad these days, and so you to let you know how good they really are i thought i would try to be differnt in the review so i would get your attention ignor every one else thereeeeeee GREAT and i dont often rave about things. This is one of the best purchases I have made! The batteries supplied with this charger are probably the most efficient batteries I have ever used. I have only charged the batteries once so far, and that was the initial charge. Both the devices are still going strong (Digital camera and a CD Player). On top of all that the price was excellent as well!! Well done to the trader who supplied the unit at such a good price and Sony for producing batteries that actually perform so well.29

Just amazing quality and good value for money
Having read many reviews before purchasing this microphone I have to say that the previous comments are totally accurate. I wanted a mike that I could use with my PC to dub over videos that I edit prior to burning to disc. Previous mikes have allowed the hum of the PC hard drive to be detected and this has been eradicated with the mike. Setting the control to 90deg allows me to have total control over the input with no outside nosie interference. I have also used this mike in a church wedding via my Camcorder where previously the dialog of a church service has been difficult due to high ceilings and lots of echo. Using a 10m extension cable with no loss of qaulity I am highly delighted with the results. I aslo think the price is excellent.32

Owned these for a number of months and whenever i listen to them they always impress me. They fold away for easy compact storage. They give out incredible bass for headphones! I have also tried out many of the sound cancelling headphones and these are just as good at cancelling out background noise when you have them on! A definate buy!!!!!34

Cheap but good
Even though these are very entry level headphones the bass is very good and they are loud and fit into my ears perfectly (very comfortable). They are reasonably durable and i have had them for just over 6 months and they have been fine. The only gripe was that the white cable turns dull after a while but that is hardly a problem. I recommend them.35

Sony in any case supply a rather ugly (but probably serviceable) cover with the unit although no mention of it appears in the pre-purchase documentation.
If only I could remember what I did with it............

Sound is great, pretty robust too I have knocked them about a LOT, only downside to the build quality is the swivel mechanism. I have had to replace them twice and the spares at £11 for a tiny bit of plastic is a bit steep.
All in all, 4 stars, would be 5 except for the weak swivel mechanism.

Rock solid mid ranged phones.
I have been using my trusty mdr-500s for a little over 2 years.Sound is great, pretty robust too I have knocked them about a LOT, only downside to the build quality is the swivel mechanism. I have had to replace them twice and the spares at £11 for a tiny bit of plastic is a bit steep.

Great but unusable
It's a great little unit except for one thing, the little earphones that are supposed to be inserted into the ear are too big (long) to fit inside a human ear. Great bass, and very comfortable
I love these headphones.The bass response from something so tiny is incredible, but the rest of the audio range is not neglected.
They really do sound superb.
Build quality-wise, the cable is a bit on the thin side, and not quite as flexible as it could be (especially in cold weather!), but the fit of the buds in your ears is very comfortable - taking advantage of the three sizes of silicone fittings supplied.
The little carry puoch, bud protector and 90 degree extension cable complete a nice package.
