Brilliant Bass

Brilliant sound, excellent bass, and the cord is of decent length. They are cheap but are built incredibly well!

The only negative point is they are quite hard to get into your ear the first time you use them. But you get used to getting them in.

Excellent sound quality, really happy

I bought these headphones as a birthday present for my dad and he is really happy with them. The sound quality is excellent on all types of music and the range the headphones work from the base is very impressive. The mechanism that automatically switches the headphones off when you remove them is a great idea, especially if you are a bit forgetful and the headphones themselves are very comfortable.

So far so good

Well I recently owned a pair of these headphones and after having them for well over a year... They eventually died. The headphones themselves are great. They fit nice and snug into your ear and the bass that is produced isn't completely astounding, but for the size of the headphones it's quite impressive.

It also comes with an improved carrying case with a smart piece of plastic to wrap them around. I've only used it a few times but it saves them from getting tangled up when you put them away for long periods of time.

I haven't owned this pair long so I can't comment on the durability of the wire itself but the last pair I had were amazing. So many times I had accidentally pulled, sat on and even caught the wire on certain objects and still they refused to break.

The length of the wire itself is nice and long, so it should easily fit into your pocket with some slack no matter how tall or short you are.

Finally, the best part of these headphones is the ability to get away from the real world. Due to headphones sitting actually inside the earlobe, it is impossible to hear anything else if the volume is turned up loud enough. I have a sony WALKMAN MP3 player. Once I turn the volume up to 21 or 22, I'm unable to hear anything else aside from the beautiful sound of music.

Don't be put off on the price of these headphones, they are worth the money. The only thing I cannot comment on is their lifespan.

Simple Awesome

Bought these for my C902 to replace my old headphones (and i mean old, they came with my W800 2 years ago) that have lasted awhile considering the abuse they take in the gym. Never knew quality headphones could make this much difference. Fit like a glove so eliminate alot of the background noise from the gym & the bass & treble are pukka. All round best no Noise Canceling headphones for Sony Ericsson.

Also order them on Monday night, dispatched Tuesday morning and delivered Wednesday. Can't ask for better service.

Rip off!

Mmmm I shopped around on Amazon for these and saw they are priced at £6.49! I thought these guys are ripping us off with these prices. So I just bought a pair of sony headphones for £4.20 with free shipping that comes with earbuds! Bargain.

Message to the supplier....we are not fooled by these prices. By judging what the other reviews are saying....we are too savvy to buy from you! I regret to say, your loss on loosing out on our custom.

Amazing!!!!!!!!

These earphones are amazing, after owning the EX300 that followed before them I immediately realised that the EX700's do not have quite as large volume span up and down. Aside from this these headphones are exceptional obviously they take a couple of songs to break in to but after that they are just so sharp and precise.
Even though these earphones cost allot they are worth the buy!!!!!!!!

Rechargeable Batteries!

Just slot em in the charger and plug in. Takes up no room at all and takes no time to charge either.

It's a great player

This player is a great piece of kit. BUT when I very first received it I was more than a little worried. It wouldn't load nevermind play any of my discs. Having said that, I left it alone for 24 hrs and since then its been perfect. The sound quality, in stereo and mono, is great. The playback options give you lot of scope and the controls are very easy and fuctional to use.

These are a great pair of head-phones but think that it is stupid that"White" colour head-phones cost more then other colours overall they have very good quality and block out most of background sound. And also have good bass recommend this product.

good service

If I'm reviewing the actual product, then I'd expect it to be perfect coming from sony.
If I'm reviewing the delivery etc, then all was fine. Bit delay on arrival but that was cos it was out of stock and this was mentioned at time of ordering.
Nice company called to let me know when delivery would be.

Working well, now it died out on me? :S

Well when I first recieved it, it was a immaculate product, fitted really easily, quite bulky just needs a good push! After a week it didn't turn on anymore, now I'm not sure if it's the batteries fault or not but at moment I'm blaming it on the battery.

not so bad at all

this phones look just as nice as the picture shown. with my previous bad experience(a replica Sony Mdrex76 with extremely low built quality)... this is by mean a lot better since its as expected as the genuine Sony product.
I am pretty satisfy with this product as the bass is by mean better than most of the low end phones as my previous JVC gummy air was very comfortable to wear, a little bit better than this since it is a open type and the air cushion was design so fine. However the bass is a failure as it doesn't really produce what I would call a real bass that a Sony can do even in its low end one.
For what i would say, this is not the best(in my opinion) as I had experience better bass in panasonic which the bass is more stronger than this one that I used to enjoy.
the ear bud is good too yet still not the best as it need a little force to wear it. the silicon ear bud itself is a little bit harder but it does not really create any discomfort for me(since not everybody have the same ear) for a long period use, this is absolutely no problem.
the only thing that bother me is the cable since it come with 0.5m which not long enough if I'm using mobile or mp3 player in my pants pocket,(maybe it's better for lady depend on the height)it come with an extension which is 1m long and now it become a little bit too long.
Despite of the cable problem, this is quite a good product after all. like it

Good buy

Bought this on the grounds it may fit into my handback and it wasn't pink or black. It's neat, compact, pretty and hardwearing. What more could I need? Marvellous.

ED 21 LP Sony

These phones are well enough made but beware if you think they are ear canal type buds! They have a 20mm hard shell (about the size of UK 5 pence coin) which must fit inside the ear to stay put. This proved too large for my average sized ears. There is a pliable rubbery face on the shell from which the sound emerges but I would rather have the entire shell made from this stuff. I didn't seem to be able to get this far enough into my ear to hear the best sound.
All in all they are quite well made but uncomfortable to wear. The sound is not bad but nothing spectecular. My cheaper Creative 630 buds sound better! I use in ear canal type buds again and may donate the EP 21LPs to someone with big ears.

Alright but failed early

it did it's job for a year but failed last month. A bit disappointing for a Sony branded product. The cable is power only and can't be adapted to transmit data.

Really like these

I find these headphones comfortable and have no problem getting them to stay in my ears. Good sound quality at a reasonable price.

reading made easy

Having read several reviews, some mixed, I decided to take a gamble and purchase the Ereader light. It was for my wife who is not exactly a soft touch. Both she and I am absolutely delighted with the product. She always reads before going to sleep and as I am already in bed asleep she reads without any bedside light. In fact she only uses the first position on the Ereader light light, its that good.

Yes, like a revolver holster, but very very convenient, robust and unique design. Everyone that sees us carrying it wonders what it is! I feel my camera has a secure....home!!

Works fine

Does what it says on the tin. Not pretty but functional. Works well, delivered quickly. Kinda bulky.

Hissy and not a great fit

These look great - beautifully designed earphones and a cool (StarTrek inspired?) noise-cancelling controller. I've had several Sony headphones in the past and I like Sony's sound, preferring them to Sennheiser for example.
So I put in a battery, plugged the jack into my MP3 player and slid the earphones into my ears. Then I switched ON the noise cancellation. SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
I switched OFF the noise cancellation and the electronic tinnitus stopped.
In a quiet environment these are bl**dy annoying. Really irritating.
I've since used them on a plane and they are OK - but the noise cancellation works to such a small extent and they are physically more cumbersome than conventional Sony buds. I'll probably never use them again.
