Review for Sony MDR-E11LP Fashionable In-ear headphones- White:
DO NOT BUY
I wanted a cheap pair of headhones to replace my ipod ones and these looked good and i had read other reviews recommending them.

They are fine unless there is an 's' in the song or you have medium to small ears so already that excludes 3/4 of the population! Veru uncomfortable for long journeys or the gym.

They aren't even proper in-ear headphones very disappoitned by sony who are meant to be the best...

Sony PRS-ACL1 - eBook reader cover with light - black

New Price: £39.95

Review for Sony PRS-ACL1 - eBook reader cover with light - black:
Check your model type
Check your reader model type before ordering this item. According to listings people who bought the PRS-300 reader also bought the PRSA-CL1 case however the PRSA-CL1 case does not fit the PRS-300 reader but only fits the PRS-505 reader. I suspect that there are many people like me having to return what looks like a super product because it's not compatible with the reader.

Sony MDR-ED 21 LP Headphones

New Price: £11.50

Review for Sony MDR-ED 21 LP Headphones:
ED 21 LP Sony
These phones are well enough made but beware if you think they are ear canal type buds! They have a 20mm hard shell (about the size of UK 5 pence coin) which must fit inside the ear to stay put. This proved too large for my average sized ears. There is a pliable rubbery face on the shell from which the sound emerges but I would rather have the entire shell made from this stuff. I didn't seem to be able to get this far enough into my ear to hear the best sound.
All in all they are quite well made but uncomfortable to wear. The sound is not bad but nothing spectecular. My cheaper Creative 630 buds sound better! I use in ear canal type buds again and may donate the EP 21LPs to someone with big ears.

Sony MDR-EX71SLB Fontopia Headphones - Black

New Price: £29.99

Review for Sony MDR-EX71SLB Fontopia Headphones - Black:
Just go buy a different pair of earphones.
I bought these thinking they sounded good and looked good. Soon after they arrived i opened the packaging and tried them out. I plugged them into my computer and was impressed....for about half an hour. The bass is, at first good but soon fades and now I can barely even hear it. The quality is the same as the earphones you might get free with an ipod and they are the most uncomfortable earphones possible. it feels like a lump of sharp plastic is being shoved down you ear and after about 30-30 minutes of using them my ears started to really hurt! none of the earpieces fit my ears but it doesn't matter anyway what size rubber earpiece you use as the plastic bit at the end of the earphone is so large and uncomfortable it just doesn't make a difference what size earpiece you use.

The cable is also INCREDIBLY short and therefore means if you are listening to an iPod/mp3 you can only do so when sitting down. when standing up you had better hope you have a pocket on the front of your shirt as you cant have you mp3 in your pocket as the cable cant reach. But then again i am only 14 years old so if the cable only just reaches a chest pocket for me then if you are older and taller than me then where on earth are you going to put your mp3 when walking around!

Sony S2 MDR-G57G Street Style Headphones

New Price: £18.00

Review for Sony S2 MDR-G57G Street Style Headphones:
Negative Review.
As a keen runner and having read other reviews I thought these would be great, definately not the case. Found the band around the back of the neck uncomfortable and non adjustable. As a distance runner I found that after an hour or so of running they started to give me a headache, after two they drove me mad.
Unfortunately I wear glasses and when buying forgot to take this into account (what a fool), with specs they are impossible and in order to wear the two you have to sacrifice wearing either your glasses or headphones loose, therefore improperly secured, not good for running action.
The redeeming feature is the quality, which when used with a mini-ipod was very good. If your buying for casual/holiday use they are probably fine, but for running or sporty use i would suggest looking at something else. As previously mentioned..DONT bother if you wear glasses.

New Price: £15.99

Review for Sony DCCNWC1C - Car Connecting Cable For Alpha & NWZS MP3:
Excellent for the Car
Plugs straight into the NWZ mp3 players. Charges the player from lighter socket.
Output signal from NWZ is normally a low level but this unit has a small pre-amp inbuilt so the volume does not need to be high to hear it.
Excellent gear at a reasonable price.

Sony MDREX32LPW In-Ear Headphones - White

New Price: £19.99

Review for Sony MDREX32LPW In-Ear Headphones - White:
Brilliant!!!!!!
Having read several reviews of this product I wasn't entirely sure I had made the right choice. However, having tried them I am really pleased that I decided to buy them. I thought I had very small ear canals but actually ended up using the medium size units. The sound is fantastic and so much better than the original iPod ear phones (which never fitted properly and kept falling out).

HEADPHONES VERTICAL CLIP

New Price: £4.99

Review for HEADPHONES VERTICAL CLIP:
Around ear headphones
I bought these earphones for my young daughter. The standard in-ear type which comes with MP3 players, etc, don't stay in her ears! These did the job wonderfully and she loves the green colour (other colours are available). I would recommend these for young children or for adults who find the standard type of earphone uncomfortable.

Review for Sony LCS-SRC Soft Carrying Case:
quite big
A lot bigger than I expected, but it is my fault - I should have double checked the size. It is made of a very good quality material and seems to last long. On second thought, I don't like the idea there is this"hole" - it doesn't protect the camcorder against the rain which is too bad.

Sony MDRNC22 In Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones With Monitor Switch To Hear Surround Sound

Used Price: £35.00
New Price: £50.87

Review for Sony MDRNC22 In Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones With Monitor Switch To Hear Surround Sound:
More than satisfied
I asked for these for Xmas, and was a little nervous as some of the reviews were a tad lukewarm. I used them primarily for the Gym where the noise of running machines and annoying club music makes it nigh on impossible to listen to one's own music or spoken word. These head phones deal with the problem much, much better than I expected. They take out most of the repetitive mechanical noise from the machines, and although it's true they can't deal with irregular sound, they are very good at eliminating much of the overpowering rhythm tracks from the kind of dance music blaring out in the gym. Obviously doesn't do so much for the vocal track, but then the fir in the ear is brilliantly snug and this helps with noise reduction on top of the cancelling. Some people have complained about hiss - but if the ambient noise is quiet enough for you to hear the hiss then you probably don't need the cancelling in the first place. The actual quality of the sound reproduction in the phones is good, with a really warn and smooth bass response, and none of the brittleness associated with cheaper ipod/walkman phones. So if there's a downside, it's that they are a little cumbersome, and it's very easy to accidentally leave them on and thereby waste the battery. Also, of course, they do need a bit of looking after. Overall - very satisfied.

Sony MDR-Q22LPS Street style ear clip headphone

New Price: £14.00

Review for Sony MDR-Q22LPS Street style ear clip headphone:
One Step Forward But Two Back
I bought some of these because my good old pair of MDR-Q33 finally died from a bad connection. I loved the Q33s, but by then they'd been replaced by these MDR-Q22 headphones. I can't wear in-ear headphones, they all fall out inside of 10 seconds, but I wanted some smaller than the earpad type that have a bulky headband. The Q33s clipped firmly, had a neat and easily managed cord, and most of all sounded great.

These headphones, however, do none of these things properly. The clips are looser and hold the earpads further from the ear, which is good in that they don't get as uncomfortable after all-day use, but bad in that they fall off far more, and the shape is much more visible (whereas the last ones could hide under my hair nicely). The old pair also had the swappable blue and silver pairs of caps, but looked best without either; however, these look silly without the caps.

The cord is a lot less impressive too. Previously they had a neat nylon-sleeved cord that was less prone to knotting and tangling, whereas this cord is conventional and rather fond of cat's cradle. It is a bit longer though.

The sound is now inferior, too. They're just not very loud. Turning them up, for example so that you can hear over the sound of a train's engine, can easily result in only the lower-frequency half of the song being audible, which never happened with the Q33s. However, in quieter environments these are pretty good sounding. The MDR-Q22s sound good, certainly a cut above any other clip-on type headphones (and believe me I've tried most of them), but not up to the standard of the older pair which these supposedly supercede. It's possible the lower model number signifies a lower powered driver; it seems weird to replace a good thing with something inferior.

Sony DRBT30QB Bluetooth Stereo Headphone Set

New Price: £35.95

Review for Sony DRBT30QB Bluetooth Stereo Headphone Set:
DO NOT BUY!
I just bought this (quite expensive) piece, I cannot connect it neither to my phone (LG U400) nor to my laptop (via bluetooth dongle). I wonder why there is this bluetooth-technology when it is that terribly difficult to pair devices. I would have liked to know in advance which devices this useless piece can connect to or not.
Bottom-line: Don't waste your hard-earned money!

SONY DR-BT22 BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES

New Price: £56.98

Review for SONY DR-BT22 BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES:
For use with IPhone 3G
Wow, I purchased this with some caution as i was not 100% sure if A) it was fully compatible with the IPhone 3G and B) if the sound quality was good for making calls.

Must say i am well impressed. Fully compatible with the IPhone (except that you cant skip track using the headphones, you need to use the phone) and the sound quality when making calls is perfect for a frequent user like me. Im not the most techno person but i can hear the person on the other side fine and they can hear me fine, and thats all that matter.

At first the headphones seemed a little flimsy, i thought they would probabbly snap after the first week, but they are fine, no problems.

Personally i would highly reccomend them. Yes there are headphones out there which no doubt have superior quality sound, but if you want something that does the job without and wires and then you wont be dissapointed.

Sony MDWM MiniDisc Case

New Price: £0.99

Review for Sony MDWM MiniDisc Case:
Great for running
I'd been looking for a suitable case for my MD for use while running, but all the belt-based options kept either falling off, or wobbling around so much I wished they'd fall off! This case holds the MD nice and snug (no wobbling!) and because I can wear it on my upper arm, I only need a short earphone lead, so even less to flail about. I take off the remote and just plug in short 'phones, put the disc on random and away! Been very pleased with it so far. I tend to only run in the dry, so I've not tested the waterproofness (is that a word?). However, it looks good for a short shower, just to keep the worst of the water out of the player. In short, good for this job.

Sony Ultimate MDR EX90LP headphones with wide dynamic range

New Price: £15.99

Review for Sony Ultimate MDR EX90LP headphones with wide dynamic range:
Muddy waters or crystal clear
If you dislike this product you probably have fake headphones. Regardless of any looks or design metal or plastic, the sound quality denotes if you have a fake or not. Easiest way to tell is to use a test meter to read the resistance of the headphones. Sony state 16 ohms, my sony EX082's that came with my player are exactly that, the fake EX90LP's i have show at over 31 ohms originals should be within 2ohms +/-. If the resistance is closer to 31 than 16 ohms you have fake headphones and you should return them. If you don't have a test meter, find someone that does, don't get dupped.
