Great sound horrible design
I just plugged these in for the first time and they sound amazing. The bass is great, could be even more powerful though. When I looked at myself in the mirror I laughed my butt off because they really do look so stupid. They look like protruding ear plugs.68

A lot bigger than I expected, but it is my fault - I should have double checked the size. It is made of a very good quality material and seems to last long. On second thought, I don't like the idea there is this"hole" - it doesn't protect the camcorder against the rain which is too bad.69

Love these headphones!
I bought these headphones about 3 years ago and they've lasted really well! Good sound from them, good bass response and comfortable to wear. The wire is also a nice length, maybe a little too long for some but it worked well for me. Definitely an excellent set of headphones to replace Apple's iPod headphones, they're definitely superior and you won't want to go back!71

A decent battery
You should get around 90 minutes battery life using the video viewfinder and a little more but using the eyepiece. Not too bulky and doesn't stick out the back of your camcorder too much like the NP-FP70 or NP-FP100 batteries.72

It's a great player
This player is a great piece of kit. BUT when I very first received it I was more than a little worried. It wouldn't load nevermind play any of my discs. Having said that, I left it alone for 24 hrs and since then its been perfect. The sound quality, in stereo and mono, is great. The playback options give you lot of scope and the controls are very easy and fuctional to use.

well it says on the pack that the batteries will last upto 4 times that of disposable batteries and so far this is correct!they are still in my camera FujiFinepix SLR and have been for 2 weeks...

Volume problems aside, these headphones are comfortable and the battery lasts longer than my 2 hour commute (I can get a couple of days worth of commute but I charge them overnight anyway). Every few days the signal seems to go pear shaped but flicking iPhone into airplane mode (turning off bluetooth) for a few seconds cures this. The headphones are too laggy to be used for films.

Portable but too loud
Don't get me wrong, I think these are great headphones for my daily commute as there is no more catching headphone cables and wrenching out of ear buds. They work well with my second generation iPhone for audio books and podcasts on the train and my walk along the canal every day but, and this is an big American sized but(t), they have no volume control. While this is fine for phone calls and spoken word, these headphones are far too loud to use for listening to music. Turning down the volume on the iPhone does not work as when you engage the headphones (via the handy silver button on the cord) the volume controls on the iPhone are disabled.Volume problems aside, these headphones are comfortable and the battery lasts longer than my 2 hour commute (I can get a couple of days worth of commute but I charge them overnight anyway). Stuffing them in your ear is the only way they'll sound good...
... and then if, like me, you run outdoors, you cannot hear anything else like traffic. I didn't like them at all and think they are not appropriate as running headphones. It's too bad as I was trying to replace another pair of Sony headphones that were great and looked very similar.YMMV
Great size, good sound
These are good headphones, they fold down to a very small (pocket) size with no danger of being bent out of shape. I can't get on with in-ear headphones, so for me these are the best alternative in terms of sound quality and size.
