Review for Sony S2 MDR-G57G Street Style Headphones:
The important thing here is that they do their job. I'm no sonic engineer but i can tell when i'm listening to good quality music and these phones give it a great go.
I coupled them with a CD player, PC, Minidsik, you name it and in each time i can say that these headphones sound great!
it's not perfect though, these are open air designs and very much so. At one time i remember using my phones as a loudspeaker to the rest of the room because they are so noisy!
So you won't be wanting to wear these in a small room as your neighbours will be very annoyed at you...
Otherwise these are great an are priced about right for a quality pair of phones

Review for Sony MDWM MiniDisc Case:
I took some getting used to although I felt the benefits immediately. I work in IT and mover from computer to server to computer frequently. Often forgetting about my player on the desk and straining my ears! This case takes care of that, and I can take an extra mini disc about with me.
I havenât used it for running yet because of the snow but im sure it will be fine. The only problem is a small amount of pressure on the arm and it is a little tricky getting the pressure so that the mini disc doesnât slip down the arm or cut the circulation off!!, but feels much better than strapping to your belt!

Good for exercise and working âHands Freeâ!
I purchased this case with my mini disc player with some reservations. The thought of the mini disc being attached to my arm sounded as if it would hinder me.I took some getting used to although I felt the benefits immediately. Review for Sony MDREX32LPW In-Ear Headphones - White:
It's true when they say"extreme bass". In fact, bass was all that I could ear. It's really massive and just blurs the rest of the sonic range. This caused unclarity on the treble an confusion on the mid frequencies. As a result of this extra bass I tried to alter the EQ of the ipod to amplify the treble. I think that is agreed that the EQ of the ipod is something that you really shouldn't touch, because most of the times it just distorts the sound and makes it even worse. So, by trying to improve the sound by changing the EQ definitions was actually not a good sign. As I predicted, no improvement...
As far as the music's concern, I like it balanced. I think the treble has to be crystal clear without hurting your ears, the mid frequencies have to be gentle and"sweet", and the bass has to be punchy and with good extension, but not as overwhelming. I hate to admit it, but this earphones do not match my taste nor even what I expected from Sony. Although the ipod standard earphones provide poor quality sound, this Sony's aren't a serious upgrade.
Concluding, if you are a lover of bassy sound, or the kind of person who loves to put the levels of the subwoofer on the home cinema or car audio system on high standards, then you may like this earphones. On the other hand, if you like to combine bass and treble with sense, and listen to music well balanced, I thing you should look elsewhere. As for me, I'm returning these, and give it a try to the Creative's.
PS- In my opinion, the only good thing about this earphones is the comfort. I never had in-earphones and I was actually surprised by the comfort and isolation they provide. Of course this is a personal issue and depends on your ear shape and listening preferences.

Not enough from Sony...
I bought this as a substitute for my standard ipod earphones that came with my 80gb classic ipod. Before I bought them I had a lot of doubts about which earphones should I get. I was really undecided between Sony MDREX32LP and Creative EP630. The creatives had great reviews but the Sony ones weren't bad either. Once I had sony earphones before (which I loved), I decided to try the Sony's.I was disappointed...It's true when they say"extreme bass". In fact, bass was all that I could ear. Review for Sony MDR-G73SP Discreet spiral neckband headphone - Silver:
It could be my head size. I have the smallest head of anyone I know. When I buy a motorcycle helmet, I am often limited to having to settle for any model that comes in the smallest adult size available.
I am not going to launch an all out attack against these phones because I'm sure Sony did plently of ergonomics research into this type of fitting before committing to them and it would be silly to assume otherwise. Rather, I think a successful fitting is entirely down to the relationship of head and ear shapes, proportions, etc.
The sound they reproduce is fine, although evidently strained at low bass frequencies. However, that problem may lie with the player as opposed to the phones. In terms of sound leakage, you might as well walk into the room with a radio on - be prepared for annoyed looks.
My advice? If you get the opportunity, try a pair before committing first (the comfort and lightness is worth striving for) - otherwise, buyer beware.

Infuriating
I deeply regret having binned the cheap and nasty earphones that originally came with my mp3 player before trying these Sony offerings first. Why?, because they flip off about 30 seconds after putting them on. That is without moving my head; any movement at all (especially looking upwards) and they are off instantly. Neither is it a question of fitting them incorrectly: they are labelled 'L' and 'R' and you would have to be some kind of mutant or contortionist to find a way of fitting them in any manner other than as is intended. It could be my head size. Review for Sony Mini/Lightweight Headphones:
On a good note they are made by Sony, work fine, the cable is a decent length and the sound quality is fine.
So they're not bad, but not quite what I expected, so gave them a 3/5
If you want to look them up, the product I received was the Sony MDR-G54LP. There are plenty of images on Google Images and a good description on the Sony website. However like I said I may have just been sent the wrong thing. Too much hassle to find out though at under £10, so up to you if you want to take this review with a grain of salt.

Not the item pictured
Don't know if they just sent the wrong thing by mistake but what I received aren't as in the photo. They are sort of V shaped at the top and do not snap open and closed, they are worn backwards so the V bit goes behind your head. Feels a bit weird at first but I've got used to it, just make sure you wear them the right way up or they will feel like they're going to slip off.On a good note they are made by Sony, work fine, the cable is a decent length and the sound quality is fine.

Best batteries I've ever had
Bought these over 6 years ago for my Sony camera. They have been used in various equipment and still working and recharging as good as they ever were! Well worth the money.
