Consistently reliable and good value tapes
I have been using Mini DV tapes from a number of brands since I purchased my Panasonic NV GS-120 3CCD camcorder five years ago. After much experimenting the one brand and tape I now rely on is Sony's Premium Mini-DV tape. It is also very cheap when bundled together - per tape it works out at least half the price that supermarkets and other outlets charge.4

Digiplay UK are selling fakes...
I bought one of these from Digiplay and it turned out to be a useless fake. When I complained they asked me to return it (at my own cost) before sending me another fake! When I reported them to Amazon they cancelled my order stating that the item was"Out of Stock", but then they threatened to charge my credit card if I didn't return the fake memory stick. I had to cancel my credit card.5

This is a great product but please don't fall into the trap of buying a cheap counterfeit stick from a market place seller. I have had the experience but thankfully I didn't spend that much on it at the time. After a few days upon receiving my fake stick, my game data started to corrupt which I was not to pleased about as I had spent over 50hrs on the game!If you buy a Sony stick from Amazon you will receive a genuine memory stick! My advice to anyone thinking perhaps they might be buying a straight Memory Stick Pro is be careful you do not get the card with the adaptor. Frankly, I agree with the other review, it simply does not work well. I also got"File Error" messages and the preview function did not work well on my Cybershot camera with the adaptor in. I was annoyed becuase I ordered the straight card WITHOUT an adaptor but got the adaptor, which as said, simply did not work. So be warned.15

Probably very good - but NOT printable!
I chose these CDRs because the technical details say they are printable - but sadly they are not. I'm sure they are perfectly good but they don't fit the Amazon description so back they go!18

Does the job mostly
What I received was not in fact a Memory Stick as illustrated but a Memory Stick Duo (which is physically much smaller) with an adapter sleeve. This works fine in the camera (a Sony Cybershot), but not in my card reader (Viking), so files have to be transferred from the camera by USB cable with all the disadvantages mentioned by others. I'm prepared to believe this is a defect in the card reader rather than the stick itself but it's always been fine with the actual memory stick. There's a covering note from MoreFLash to say that Memory Stick format has now been discontinued.This aside, it's great now having 45 mins of reasonable quality video on the camera - and much cheaper than buying a new camera!

Great - gives me what I wanted i.e. 4gb of space, and works fine.Bought from 1memoryshop. - They did what they advertised too. Cheap and arrived quickly.
