Review for Sony VAIO SZ4XWN/C Notebook (Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 2GHz, 2GB RAM, 120GB HDD, 13.3" TFT, Windows Vista Business):
I had some use of the customer services when I managed to turn off my flash card in device manager; freephone, very well informed, friendly and fluent english staff.
Following this I decided to upgrade to this laptop as it is basicly the same but with much higher spec. The fingerprint scanner still amazes people and is actually very useful, the built in camera is good enough for video chats, and I have had no trouble installing any of my peripherals onto it yet.
There also seems to be an IT guy living inside it as it manages to automatically connect to my local (Quite complicated to set up) Wireless network with only the network name and password which has flummuxed half the other laptops that try to use it as they require all the security settings entering manually.
I am also quite in shock at reviews rating this laptop as 1/5 due to it having bundled software. If you can use a computer you will be able to uninstall the bundled software with ease, although the majority of it is not trial-ware and is actually very useful.
To finish off, its sleek, its stylish, and if its good enough for James Bond, its good enough for me

My favourite laptop so far
I have now had many laptops, and have always been caught in the compromise between lightweight and powerful... that was until I got hold of the SZ1 version of this laptop, Ok it may be pricier than its competitors but its certainly worth paying that bit extra.I had some use of the customer services when I managed to turn off my flash card in device manager; freephone, very well informed, friendly and fluent english staff.

Review for Sony NWA805B.CE7 2GB video WALKMAN - black:
But, and to me its a big but, the SonicWare software is just rubbish. I am really surprised that a company of Sony's size and reputation could put their name to this - its limited in functionality, unintuitive, badly written, pops up error messages for the simplest of issues and Sony's obssession with unauthorised copying stifles any shortcuts or workarounds that you may wish to try. Worse still, it stores tracks imported (burned from CD, etc) as"OpenMG Audio". Good luck converting your playlist across to MP3 or whatever when you purchase another player in a few years time.
Shame as the player itself is ace.

Great player, bad software.
Bought the player and wireless cradle/speakers from Argos. First of all, the player is great and the sound really is amazing, either thru the headphones or the cradle/speakers.But, and to me its a big but, the SonicWare software is just rubbish. disappointed
The sound quality is good but if you want to be able to read the 7 line display do not buy this. As soon as you take it outside the reflective surface makes it impossible to read. Not something i would recommend.110

Review for Sony NWS202SC - 512mb Walkman MP3 Player - Silver:
Its easy to use, and easy to understand, with just a little twist your on to the next song.
I would recommend this to anyone but more to a sporty person.
It will also count how far you have walked tell you how many miles you have walked or run, and will also tell you have many calories you have lost.
So if you are a sportting person this MP3 player is for you.

Review for Sony NWS202SC - 512mb Walkman MP3 Player - Silver:
Easy And Sexy
This has to be one of the best MP2 players I have owned, most MP3 players which I have owned have been lost or broken whilst doing a lot of trainning, such as running, but with the fantastic arm piece where the MP3 Player is held it can't ger lost or broken. Its easy to use, and easy to understand, with just a little twist your on to the next song.
I would recommend this to anyone but more to a sporty person.

Review for Sony NW-E003VC Walkman 1GB MP3 Player - Violet:
Worked fine for a while, but now is broken.
I've had one of these for about 10 months and was very pleased with it. Unfortunately, I can't connect it to my computer any longer - I get"USB device not recognized", an error which seems common with this style of Walkman from the Google searches I've attempted - and I can't seem to fix it.A rather disappointing final result for what was once a nice little piece of kit.

Review for Sony NWA805FP 2GB Video WALKMAN - Pink:
The Sonic stage 4.3 worked fine however I have had issues with sonic stage over the years and if it worries you I was able to download off Sonic stage 3.4 on my partners computer, this is an old machine and I would not risk trying 4.3 as I think this is mainly for Vista operating programmes.
Also I would recommend copying your CDs in MP3 format and converting them to Attrac 48kbs when loading on to the player (this takes a bit more time but gives you more options if in the future you change to another player as you can import into another programe in MP3).

A great little performer
Very small and cute with excellent sound quality downloading the videos and pictures was very easy just drag and drop into to it's image converter programme which you can download seperate to Sonic Satge 4.3.The Sonic stage 4.3 worked fine however I have had issues with sonic stage over the years and if it worries you I was able to download off Sonic stage 3.4 on my partners computer, this is an old machine and I would not risk trying 4.3 as I think this is mainly for Vista operating programmes.

Review for Sony MZ-NH1 Silver Hi-MiniDisc Walkman:
The menu system is abit confusing and why they could not have put the power supply and USB together on the dock like the HD-1 dock is strange. The dock for this is purely for charging.
If above all else sound quality is important then go for this (please note I am not using the supplied headphones). For just under £110 you can't go wrong. Infact for sound quality alone it's a bargain. But if ease of use is also a factor go for one of the hard drive players.

Review for Sony MZ-NH1 Silver Hi-MiniDisc Walkman:
Sounds Amazing
I got this a few days ago and I am now using it as my primary portable music player. I do have the SONY NW-HD1 player but after downloading some of the same tracks as on that player to this machine - it sounds far more superior. I don't know why - all the settings and bit rate were the same but this just sounds altogether better. The menu system is abit confusing and why they could not have put the power supply and USB together on the dock like the HD-1 dock is strange. The dock for this is purely for charging.

Don't buy this - sorry but it doesn't do what it is supposed to!
I've had my LT2S for 9 days now and I've been on the phone to Vaio tech support 9 times too. The serial number is hidden under the back cover so immediately you're going to have a problem finding that to register. The cover itself is flimsy and the instructions on how to get it off are appalling (no words just pictures with arrows that actually point the wrong way). Then when you do take it off the first time it will never fit back on properly ever again. The Vaio asks me to update the software every single time I turn it on, even 10 times a day. The disc drive feels wrong and sounds like it is going to break, the USB drives frequently don't work and the radio-wireless mouse has never worked for me at all. Sony have agreed to take mine back to the factory but after all the pain I've gone through I think I am going to take it back to the shop and get a Mac instead!
